Cabo Verde (Republic of Cabo Verde) is an island country located in the Atlantic Ocean, about 570 km off the coast of West Africa. The archipelago is composed of 10 main islands and 8 islets, divided into two groups: Barlavento (north) and Sotavento (south). It has no land borders, only maritime boundaries.

Tourist Attractions
Sal Island – famous for its beaches, salt mines, and the tourist town of Santa Maria.
Boa Vista Island – dunes and paradisiacal beaches, a hotspot for diving and turtle watching.
Cidade Velha (Santiago) – UNESCO World Heritage Site and historical birthplace of the country.
Praia (capital) – political and cultural center, with museums and traditional markets.


Consular Visas
Brazilians do not need a visa to enter Cape Verde for tourism or business trips of up to 30 days.
Yellow fever vaccination is required for travelers coming from countries where there is a risk of transmission.
