The International Relations Office (SRI) at UFRN invites the academic community, particularly Indigenous doctoral students, to apply for the Guatá 2026 Scholarship. • Application Deadline: March 2, 2026 (at 11:59 PM, Brasília time).

  • Publication of Final Results: April 2026.

  • Start of Mobility in France: September 2026.

  • Monthly Stipend: Between €1,300 and €1,700 (depending on the destination city).

  • Airfare: Round-trip tickets (Brazil-France-Brazil) funded by CAPES.

  1. Declaration of Ethnic Belonging: As per the official guide, it is mandatory to present a declaration signed by two different Indigenous leaders, duly identified.

  2. Motivation Letter: This must include an account of the candidate's life journey, their research interests, and how the mobility will benefit their personal and professional trajectory.

UFRN, through the SRI, is committed to fulfilling the call's requirement by offering free French lessons for selected candidates, providing linguistic preparation prior to departure.
