Scotland is one of the four constituent nations of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, located in the northern part of the island of Great Britain, in Western Europe. It borders only England to the south and is surrounded by the North Sea to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, and the Irish Sea to the southwest.
