Timor-Leste (Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste) is a country located in Southeast Asia, occupying the eastern half of Timor Island, as well as Atauro and Jaco islands and the Oecusse enclave (within Indonesian territory). It shares a land border only with Indonesia and is bordered by the Banda Sea and the Timor Sea, which separates it from Australia to the south.
