Graduate Programs for International Students

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is a leading research institution in Brazil. We offer a wide range of Master’s and Doctoral programs across all fields of knowledge. As a public federal university, UFRN is tuition-free for both Brazilian and international students.

Admission: The Rotative Calls System

Unlike some international universities with a single annual intake, UFRN operates on a Rotative Calls System. Each Graduate Program (PPG) is responsible for its own selection process, calendar, and specific requirements.

How to Apply:

English-Friendly Programs

While the official language of instruction is Portuguese, UFRN is committed to internationalization. Several programs offer courses, seminars, and research supervision in English, making them ideal for international candidates.
