Postdoctoral Fellowships with Dedicated Support in Lyon

The International Relations Office invites doctoral degree holders from our institution to elevate their careers to a global stage through the prestigious 2026 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF). More than just financial aid, this opportunity represents a chance to join the scientific ecosystem of Lyon—one of Europe's most vibrant hubs—while benefiting from an exclusive support structure designed to ensure the success of Brazilian researchers in their international applications.

Scientific Excellence in Lyon

Lyon is recognized as France's second-largest scientific pole, home to over 160 laboratories and a community of 6,400 researchers. The Université Lumière Lyon 2 stands out for the exceptional support offered to candidates: the institution features a dedicated Grants Office to assist researchers in drafting proposals and structuring budgets, significantly increasing the chances of approval.

Benefits and Fellowship Values

MSCA funding is among the most competitive and attractive in the world, providing monthly allowances that ensure financial stability for the researcher:

• Living Allowance:Base value between €5,080 and €6,350 per month (adjusted by France’s country coefficient).


• Mobility Allowance:€600 per month to cover relocation and installation costs.


• Family Allowance:€660 per month (applicable to researchers with a spouse or children).


• Research, Training, and Networking Contribution:€1,000 per month managed by the host institution for project costs and events.

Requirements and Deadlines

• Degree: Candidates must hold a PhD degree by the call deadline.


• Mobility Rule: Researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline.


• Deadline for Submission:June 24, 2026.
